Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer (Python) with 1–5 years of experience to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with modern Python frameworks, databases, and cloud-based environments, and should collaborate closely with frontend, DevOps, and product teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using Python
• Work with Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI
• Develop and optimize database schemas, queries, and data models
• Integrate third-party APIs and internal services
• Ensure performance, scalability, and security of backend systems
• Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues
• Collaborate with frontend developers, QA, DevOps, and product stakeholders
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 1–5 years of hands-on experience in Python backend development
• Strong understanding of Python fundamentals and OOP concepts
• Experience with at least one backend framework:
  • Django / Flask / FastAPI
• Proficiency in REST API development
• Working knowledge of databases:
  • Relational: PostgreSQL / MySQL
  • Optional: MongoDB or other NoSQL databases
• Basic understanding of authentication & authorization (JWT, OAuth)
• Familiarity with Git / version control systems
• Experience in writing unit tests and basic test automation

Good to Have (Nice to Have)

• Experience with microservices architecture
• Knowledge of Docker / containerization
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
• Understanding of message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka, SQS)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
• Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments
